Jake's Southern Diner: A Hidden Gem of Southern Comfort Food

Cozy little diner with good food! Liked the music decor with the random dinosaur figurines placed around the diner. The staff was friendly. We got the ribs, fries and the open faced roast beef. All were great! Ribs were smoky and fell off the bone.

Food was fantastic and Dylan might be the best waiter we've had in a long while. Catfish is as advertised and the Fried Green Tomatoes were delicious. Great Experience!

We found this little diner by spotting a sign that said "life changing tartar sauce." Of course I had to go try it! I ordered a house burger (single instead of double) with fries. The burger was very tasty! I absolutely loved the crispy fries, especially when I dunked them in that tartar sauce (seriously, the best tartar sauce I have ever had!!). My husband got the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and tater tots. He really enjoyed his meal as well. One of my absolute favorite things about this place was finding the little dinosaurs hidden around the restaurant. If you ever have the chance, stop by here! It is loved by these two Louisiana people.

My first time here. I had a Cajun chicken sandwich and it was delicious. I sat at the counter and could see the kitchen. It appears everything is freshly made The employees were are friendly. The place is clean. This is a hidden gem. I plan on telling all my peeps to try this place out!!! The only thing they are missing is wine!

This place was so awesome! They had the best Ruben sandwich I’ve ever had! And the owner Jason is so nice and welcoming! Staff was wonderful! I def recommend this place and I will be coming back! O and the corn nuggets were yummy

We had the pleasure of dining at Jake's Southern Diner and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was clearly crafted with care and packed with flavor. You can tell the ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully chosen. The service was equally outstanding. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome the entire time. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations, which turned out to be spot on. From the atmosphere to the attention to detail, everything came together perfectly. If you're looking for a place that delivers both amazing food and top-notch service, this is it. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

Fresh and delicious comfort food that never disappoints! So many options on the menu that I like, always hard to make a decision. Today they had their famous Italian Grinder as one of the weekly specials, so it was an easy decision today! Yummy!

We tried this place for the first time today and loved it!! It is not homemade food so if that’s what you’re wanting this ain’t the place. More like bar kinda food but with a sit down atmosphere and awesome prices! Addi was our waitress and she was phenomenal. Hope this place stays around. Also would love to recommend a lil outdoor spot to eat at would be a cool addition.
